The California Firefighters’ Memorial Fund recognizes the courage of firefighters, and the determination of fire victims. Proceeds finance construction and maintenance of the California Firefighters Memorial, as well as annual ceremonies honoring more than 1,000 California firefighers who have died in the line of duty. Funds also provide emergency assistance and resources for families of fallen firefighters and others devastated by fires and other major disasters, as well as public education and outreach programs about fires and fire safety.
